Overview
Ready Seal is a semi-transparent oil-based exterior wood stain-and-sealer-in-one. It is a blend of oils quality resins and finely ground pigments that soak into the wood instead of forming a film so it will not crack chip flake or peel. No linseed oil. No back-brushing and no wet-line. Apply by brush 3/8 in nap roller pump sprayer or airless sprayer. This gallon is colour Natural Cedar.

- Wood must be clean prepped and at 12% moisture or less. Exterior above-ground use. Do not tint with other brands; Ready Seal colours may be intermixed with each other.
- Intended as two coats. Porous wood may take a second coat after about 45 minutes. Do not over-saturate or leave puddles. Appears darker wet; true colour in about 7 - 14 days.
- Practical coverage about 125 - 175 sq. ft. per gallon (cedar fence about 125; many decks and spruce fences about 150). VOC under 250 g/l. Solids about 81 - 85% by weight. Cleanup with mineral spirits.
- Horizontal surfaces typically 1 - 3 years; vertical 3 - 5 years. Recoat after a light clean - no sanding or stripping. Not a film-forming deck paint.
