Overview
Zinsser Mold Blocking Primer Spray is an EPA-registered protective coating that can be painted over existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, and odor-causing bacteria on non-porous interior and exterior surfaces. It has excellent hide, blocks most stains and odors, and is made for small jobs and touch-ups in bathrooms, basements, attics, warehouses, and similar spaces. Works with any topcoat except solvent-based lacquers.
- EPA registration 69587-6. EPA Est. No. 69587-MD-001.
- Modified alkyd. Titanium dioxide pigment. Fill weight 13 oz (369 g).
- Practical coverage 8 - 10 sq ft per can (0.7 - 0.9 m²) at recommended film (TDS ZNR-80).
- Dries to touch in about 5 minutes; topcoat in 30 minutes (70 - 80°F / 21 - 27°C, 50% RH).
- Fix moisture problems first. For structurally unsound surfaces follow the label remediation steps.
- Shake until the ball rattles, then one more minute upside down. Spray 10 - 12 inches with short strokes.
