Rust-Oleum Stops Rust protective enamel spray is an oil-modified alkyd coating for rust prevention on metal plus a durable finish on wood concrete and masonry. Comfort tip with a wider finger pad. Any-angle spray. This can is White flat.
- Working SKU 11898. Manufacturer model 7790830. 12 oz aerosol. One can.
- Touch dry 2 to 4 hours; handle 5 to 9 hours; fully dry 24 hours at 70-80 F / 50% RH. Recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours. Dry heat resistance 200 F (93 C).
- Practical coverage about 6 to 10 sq. ft. per can at 1.0-2.0 mils DFT. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. Hold about 12 in from the surface. Shake for one minute after the ball rattles.
- Indoor and outdoor. Metal wood concrete and masonry. Not for galvanized metal. Heavily rusted metal: use a Stops Rust rusty-metal primer first. Clean wet paint with mineral spirits or xylene.
- Use at 50-90 F with humidity below 85%. This is Stops Rust 12 oz protective enamel - not Painter's Touch 2X and not Universal.
