Overview
Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Advanced 2700 is a 2-in-1 primer and topcoat aerosol on a fast-drying short-oil soya alkyd. Lead- chromate- and zinc-free. For small maintenance and touch-up on properly prepared metal: aluminium bare or blasted steel and existing paint. Light industrial duty indoor and outdoor. This SKU is Jet Black flat RAL 9005.
- Manufacturer SKU/model 2778. 500 ml net. EAN 5413436097851.
- Touch dry 20 minutes; handle 45 minutes; recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours; fully cured 7 days at 20°C / 50% RH. Heat resistance 100°C dry (discolouration may occur above 65°C).
- Theoretical coverage 2.5 - 3 m² per can at 25 µm DFT. Recommended WFT 100 µm / DFT 25 µm. VOC 640 - 650 g/l.
- Shake well. Spray at about 25 cm. Invert and clear the valve 2 - 3 seconds after use. Light colours may need a light primer. This is Advanced 2700 - not the Hard Hat 2100 topcoat-only line (SKU 2189 and similar).
