Overview
Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover is an oil-based acrylic-modified alkyd paint-and-primer spray. Double-cover solids hide in fewer passes than matching Rust-Oleum general-purpose sprays. Any-angle valve - even upside down. Comfort tip with a wider finger pad. This can is Khaki gloss.
- Working SKU 1427111. Manufacturer model 1427111. 12 oz (340 g) aerosol. One can.
- Touch dry 20 minutes; handle 1 hour; fully dry 24 hours at 70°F / 50% RH. Recoat or clear within 1 hour or after 48 hours. On plastic full adhesion in 5 - 7 days. Dry heat resistance 200°F (93°C).
- Practical coverage about 8 to 12 sq. ft. per can at 1.0 - 2.0 mils DFT. Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart. Hold 10 - 16 in from the surface. Shake for one minute after the ball rattles.
- Indoor and outdoor. Wood metal most plastic wicker plaster masonry and unglazed ceramic. Not for galvanized metal. Some polyethylene plastics may not take maximum adhesion - test first. Clean wet paint with mineral spirits or xylene.
- Use at 50 - 90°F with humidity below 65%. This is Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover gloss - not Universal and not Stops Rust.
