Overview
Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Garage Floor Coating is a two-part water-based epoxy for clean, dry concrete garage floors. Grey semi-gloss. The complete DIY kit includes the 2K coating, cleaning solution, decorative chips, mixing paddle and instructions. Mix ratio base : activator = 3 : 1 by volume. No separate primer on sound bare concrete.

- Coverage about 25 m² on smooth bare concrete (a typical 1-car garage). Rough or porous concrete needs more - about 12 - 20 m². VOC 53 g/l. Solids 63.6% by volume. Density 1.27 g/cm³.
- Light foot traffic 16 hours. Normal foot traffic and heavy items 48 hours. Vehicle traffic 7 days (20°C / 50% RH). Pot life about 1½ hours at 20°C. Roller induction about 15 minutes at 20°C.
- Apply 15 - 35°C with a roller. Resists petrol, antifreeze, motor oil, salt and hot-tyre pick-up. Not for smooth/dense concrete or concrete with a curing compound that blocks adhesion. Can go over old well-adhered coatings.
