Overview

Rust-Oleum Pegasol Quartz is a two-pack water-based anti-slip floor coating with a durable quartz satin finish. Odourless when applied. Indoor and outdoor. This SKU is the 7 kg Dark Grey base (colour 3BN). Mix with the 0.5 kg Pegasol Quartz activator at 7:0.5 by weight. Add the hardener to the base gradually with mechanical stirring.

• Manufacturer SKU/model 185.3BN.7. Net 7 kg Dark Grey base. One can.
• Touch dry 45 minutes; handle 2 hours; recoat 6 hours; fully cured 1 week at 20°C / 50% RH. Foot traffic after about 6 hours; wheeled traffic after about 3 days. Pot life 1 hour - about 12 hours if diluted with 5% water by volume.
• Density about 1.6 g/cm³. Solids 77% by weight / 63% by volume. Satin. Recommended 500 µm wet / 315 µm dry (about 800 g/m² per coat). VOC 30 g/l (category A/j; limit 140 g/l). Water cleanup. Air 8°C min; RH max 80%.
• Brush or roller undiluted. Airless and conventional spray are not recommended.
• Outdoor: balconies and terraces (ask technical service for those jobs). Indoor: industrial floors and warehouses. On garage floors apply a Pegakote topcoat over Pegasol Quartz. Do not finish outdoor Pegasol Quartz with a polyurethane varnish - UV light forms acids in the film.
• Apply on clean dry substrate with no rising damp. Direct on tiles ceramics (even glazed) non-porous natural stone and tarmacadam. Porous concrete: impregnate first with Primer 44 HS or Vernac thinned 10% with Thinner 22. Remove curing compounds on poly-concrete by blasting. This is the 7 kg Dark Grey base - not the 0.5 kg activator and not Pegakote.
