Overview
Rust-Oleum Pegakote is a two-pack water-based satin epoxy floor coating for garages warehouses showrooms corridors indoor car parks and workshops. Exceptional abrasion resistance and better resistance to hot tyres than a 1-component sealer. Indoor floors and walls only. Mix mechanically at least 3 minutes. Mix ratio 4:1 by volume (base : activator). Pot life 2 hours at 20°C.
- Manufacturer SKU/model 19.7016.3.45. Net 3.45 kg kit of base + activator. Colour Anthracite Grey RAL 7016.
- Touch dry 9 hours; handle 12 hours; recoat after 12 hours and before 72 hours at 20°C; fully cured 5 - 7 days. VOC 1 g/l (category A/j). Solids 45 - 47% by volume. Satin 56 - 62% at 60°. Density 1.29 - 1.35 g/cm³.
- Theoretical coverage about 6 m²/l per coat. First coat may be diluted with max 10% water; second coat undiluted. Clean with water. Air 8°C min; RH below 80%.
- On tiles or power-floated concrete use primer 3333 or 3366. On very porous or heavy-abrasion concrete use 5401WB. Mechanical prep (blast or diamond) is mandatory for garage/parking floors. Not for outdoor UV exposure without a PU topcoat (4900 or 9211). Deep/bright colours need a PU varnish.
